Why my receipt is Pending

A receipt being pending is when the receipt has been successfully generated in the TotalVFD system but has not yet reached the TRA servers. The following are reasons why receipts may be pending:


Recent Receipts

Normally, TRA servers are busy most of the time, which can delay the receipt from reaching them immediately. Therefore, it is advisable to wait at least half an hour or more before assuming that your receipt has been successfully submitted.


Technical Issues at TRA

There may also be technical issues at TRA that could cause their systems to either not work at all or work less efficiently than usual. Typically, technical fixes to TRA systems do not take more than 24 hours.


Receipt Errors

It could also be an issue with the receipt you transmitted. One common reason is using special characters in items or even in the customer's name. It is advisable to avoid special characters to ensure that your receipt is transmitted successfully.


When Should I Be Concerned About My Pending Receipts?

If three days have passed and your receipts are still pending, you should contact TSL Technologies or TotalVFD for further investigation.
